Authors retain full copyright over their work. By submitting content to Biotational, authors grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, and distribute their work via our platform and associated services.

  • Creative Commons LicenseAll published content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This permits:

    • Sharing – Copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format

    • Adapting – Remixing, transforming, and building upon the material

  • Originality and Compliance: Authors confirm that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and does not infringe on third-party rights. Authors agree to adhere to ethical standards, including:

    • Disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest. 

    • Proper attribution to co-authors and contributors. 

  • Peer Review Process: All submissions undergo editorial or peer review. Biotational reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject submissions based on reviewer feedback. 

  • Research Integrity: Biotational expects authors to comply with ethical guidelines, such as those set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Research involving human or animal subjects must meet ethical and legal standards. 

6. Article Processing Charges (APC) and Payment Terms

  • Biotational is a Diamond Open Access journal, meaning:

    • There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs)

    • Authors and readers pay nothing to access, publish, or share content

    • All content is immediately available without restriction

7. Data Privacy and Security

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Data is collected for account management, article publication, and platform operation.

8. User Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and are liable for all activities conducted under their account.
